Acceptable Usage Policy

All services provided by WreckHost (“WreckHost”) may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States or International Law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. The subscriber agrees to indemnify and hold harmless WreckHost from any claims resulting from the use of service which damages the subscriber or any other party.

Prohibited websites that promote any illegal activity or present content that may be damaging to WreckHost servers and services, or any other server on the Internet. Links to such materials are also prohibited.

Sending Emails:

Any emails sent from our network to must comply with the SPAM Act 2003 and all other relevent laws regarding sending emails. We do not allow mass email or mail list sending from our network without prior written premission.

Warez sites
Topsites
High bandwidth file hosting or file mirroring
Proxy Scripts/Anonymizers (Only Allowed on VPS or Dedicated Hosting*)
Pirated Software/Warez
Image Hosting Scripts (similar to Photobucket or Tinypic) (Only Allowed on VPS or Dedicated Hosting*)
Music Storage Facility
AutoSurf/PTC/PTS/PPC sites
IP Scanners
File Leechers or Video Download Scripts (Only allowed on VPS or Dedicated Hosting*.)
Bruteforce Programs/Scripts/Applications
Mail Bombers/Spam Scripts
Banner-Ad services (commercial banner ad rotation)
File Dump/Mirror Scripts (similar to rapidshare allowed on VPS or Dedicated Hosting*)
Commercial Audio Streaming (more than one or two streams) (Only Allowed on VPS or Dedicated Hosting*)
Escrow/Bank
High-Yield Interest Programs (HYIP) or Related Sites
Investment Sites (FOREX, E-Gold Exchange, Second Life/Linden Exchange, Ponzi, MLM/Pyramid Scheme)
Sale of any controlled substance without prior proof of appropriate permit(s)
Prime Banks Programs
Lottery/Gambling Sites
MUDs/RPGs/PBBGs
Hacker focused sites/archives/programs
Sites promoting illegal activities
Forums and/or websites that distribute or link to warez/pirated/illegal content
Bank Trading Programs
Fraudulent Sites (Including, but not limited to sites listed at aa419.org & escrow-fraud.com)
Mailer Pro
Broadcast or Streaming of Live Sporting Events
Tell A Friend Scripts
Digital currency such as but not limited to Bitcoin
Child Pornography
Sites serving solely Adult Ads
Adult sites which have not been granted prior approval
The sale of any controlled item without prior proof of appropriate permit(s).
Any form of content that infringes on someone else’s copyright
Any site or domain name that offers or contains “UDID Registrations” or otherwise which is in breach of Apple Inc’s developer terms and conditions.

*It is the responsibility of the account holder to insure that any files downloaded or stored via such a service comply with the rest of this document.

NOTICE: IF YOUR ACCOUNT(S) BREACH ANY OF THE ABOVE EXAMPLES, YOUR ACCOUNT WILL BE SUSPENDED IMMEDIATELY. ADDITIONALLY, “WreckHost” WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO ANY RELEVANT AUTHORITIES SHOULD THEY REQUEST IT. THIS POLICY MAY CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
